The view from my front door.
It has been snowing all day. As pretty as it is, under the snow is yesterday's gift -- almost half an inch of ice. This did, it should be noted, follow a 65 degree day. Needless to say, I haven't left the house much in the last two days. I've had plenty to keep me busy, so I've actually been quite content. Plenty of groceries. Loads of coffee. But I do feel the urge to bake -- or, perhaps, to make some of these:

(With some hot cocoa, of course.)

I have to say that I'm not really a huge marshmallow fan, but homemade ones are delicious. While they do require a rather ridiculous amount of corn syrup, it's okay for a special treat. Hope you all are staying warm and enjoying, here at least, what will probably be the last bit of winter.
ohmygoodness! these look delicious! And I absolutely love the photo. such beautiful colors.
